The Center promotes and supports research, education, and innovation in QSE to shape EPFL’s leading role in this domain. We develop synergies with other Swiss research institutions and thrive to network quantum centers & their researchers, students, and innovators. We aim at building partnerships with the Quantum Industry targeting Research, Innovation and Education. We drive actions to support equality, diversity and inclusion in Quantum.
I currently serve the EPFL community on Education, Research, and Innovation in Quantum, as the executive director of the Quantum Science and Engineering Center. In my previous role (2017-2022) I worked as a principal research manager at Microsoft Quantum, working on growing quantum material crystals. My technical background lies in compound semiconductor nanotechnology, epitaxy and quantum materials, with academic research roles at Lund University, CNRS in France, Cardiff University, and the Australian National University.
