Today, Cryo-IC designers lack validated transistor models at cryogenic temperatures, rendering circuit simulation before fabrication practically impossible. As a result, teams resort to costly, multi-month DFT (Design–Fabrication–Test) cycles, often requiring 10 iterations to achieve acceptable performance. Each iteration can take USD 200,000 and 5–8 months, severely delaying related applications.
By enabling accurate cryogenic circuit simulation, RX-Model has the potential to reduce the number of physical iterations from 10 to 1, replacing them with 10 virtual iterations using validated simulations.
