Alain Hirtzig

Alain Hirtzig is in charge of CyberLabs, the innovation and research arm of CyberForce, which is part of DEEP Luxembourg, POST Luxembourg’s B2B entity providing cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, and telecom solutions for enterprise and institutional clients. In this role, he leads initiatives to develop and deploy advanced cybersecurity solutions, collaborating closely with national and international partners to address emerging digital threats.

Earlier in his career, he gained hands-on experience as a network engineer, building IPTV, VoIP, large-scale infrastructure and cloud services and solutions for both residential and corporate customers. This technical foundation gives him deep insight into both operational and security challenges in modern telecommunication networks.

Today, he drives projects in secure communications and emerging technologies, including Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). His work bridges research and practice, ensuring that innovative solutions are not only technically sound but operationally deployable in real-world networks.
