As sales director at ionoptika, I am keen to meet with research institutions and industry investigating building of Quantum devices via solid state defects.
My organisation
Since 1994, Ionoptika has specialised in design and build of cutting-edge scientific instruments featuring ion beams for global research institutes, universities and industry. With the Q-One ion implantation instrument, Ionoptika has firmly established itself within the Quantum research space. Making Qubits is usually complex, expensive and slow, however many leading researchers are moving towards solid state defects as a promising candidate for Qubit production.SSDs include sub-categories including Nitrogen Vacancy “NV” and Tin Vacancy “SnV” defects in diamond and Rare earth atoms in oxides, but much experimentation is still required to investigate these candidates. Ionoptika have designed and built an extremely flexible instrument, enabling fast, repeatable implantation of single ions and arrays of a wide range of different species- allowing Quantum researchers the freedom to optimise conditions for Qubit production. The Q-One is the world’s first machinespecifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of ion implantation for the production of Qubits. Q-One offers the ability to precisely implant and detect the implantation of a wide variety of species, including silicon, tin, erbium, neodymium, gold, bismuth, and gaseous elements such as hydrogen and nitrogen.
