About me
Dr. Mike Bennett is the Director of Education and Workforce Development for the Q-SEnSE NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute, based at the University of Colorado Boulder. There, he leads the center's strategic efforts in developing comprehensive workforce pathways initiatives primarily focused on non-R1 institutions and "quantum conversant" workers, helping create a strong and representative quantum workforce.
Dr. Bennett earned a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from Michigan State University in 2016 and, since then, has largely focused on physics education, with a particular specialty in informal learning and public engagement. He works closely with collaborators in industry, academia, and government to help ensure that everyone has access to STEM education and careers.
