About me
Daniel de Haro Moraes is the Head of Emerging Technologies at Venturus, where he leads initiatives in quantum computing, blockchain, and cybersecurity. With more than 15 years of experience in distributed systems and advanced computing, Daniel has built a career at the intersection of academic research and practical innovation, helping organizations anticipate and adapt to the technological challenges of the future.
He has contributed to international research, including co-authoring studies on post-quantum cryptography for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), published in the IACR Cryptology ePrint Archive, and on AI-driven optimization for industrial maintenance, published in Expert Systems. His work reflects a consistent focus on applying deep technical knowledge to real-world infrastructures and strategic decision-making.
Daniel holds a Quantum Computing for Natural Sciences certification from OpenHPI/IBM Quantum and has been recognized multiple times in global innovation challenges, including the IBM Quantum Challenge. He is also an advocate for the development of quantum ecosystems in Latin America, supporting collaboration between academia, industry, and government.
Based in Campinas, São Paulo, Daniel is passionate about building bridges between research, technology, and business impact. His mission is to harness emerging technologies not only to secure and optimize today’s systems but also to lay the foundation for a quantum-ready digital future.
